Sider Sipe S.p.A. has been producing electro-welded mesh and lattice girders, steel in coils and shaped and custom-made bars for over 35 years, specializing in the marketing and processing of steel for reinforced concrete.

Over the years, the scope of action has been progressively expanded and since 2017, Sider Sipe SpA has been the manufacturer, supplier and exclusive licensee throughout the national territory of the innovative BAMTEC reinforcement system, providing this reinforcement technology in important construction sites throughout Italy, obtaining wide recognition for the quality of the product and the service provided.
SIDER SIPE SPA presents itself as a competent and reliable partner and in order to guarantee the highest quality and efficiency of the service, it has organized itself to efficiently serve the entire national territory, thus managing to satisfy every need of the Customer in terms of quantity, types of product requested and execution times.
The great experience developed over the years has allowed it to refine its production process, from the order acquisition phase to the technical-production and logistics phase. SIDER SIPE SPA has a highly specialized technical and production assistance staff and uses advanced technology.
The production of shaped steel is supported by the use of advanced and specific software for the preparation of production lists and identification tags of the shapes of the material to be produced, for the management of the traceability of the castings used and the optimization of the cuts. Optical reading technology is used for the constant verification of the number and shapes of the material produced.
The production cycle and all the products are qualified by the Central Technical Service of the Higher Council of Public Works. The quality is constantly monitored by continuous internal controls of the internal Test Laboratory and by periodic checks of the Official Laboratory of the Polytechnic of Turin. The Quality Management system of Sider Sipe S.p.A. is certified by TUV and complies with the UNI ENI ISO 9001 standard.
The supplies of raw materials are satisfied by the primary steel mills.
1st PLANT IN CATANIA
The production plant is located in the Industrial Zone of Catania on an area of 45,000 square meters, and is equipped with the most modern automatic systems that can guarantee the production of the product volumes requested by customers with a high level of quality in line with the highest standards.
The Catania plant is mainly, but not exclusively, aimed at serving the Southern Italy market.
2nd PLANT IN CATANIA – III STREET
The constant growth of the Company and the appreciation found on the market made it necessary to open a new production center in Catania.
Therefore, in 2024 the second plant in Catania was inaugurated, equipped for the production of shaped steel, BAMTEC reinforcements and for the marketing of mesh, round iron for reinforced concrete in straight and shaped bars.
