The company Sider Sipe S.p.A. has implemented an investment program in the headquarters of the municipality of Catania (CT) in Strada Terza n°40, Zona Industriale.

The resources provided, within the framework of the incentives referred to in the Ministerial Decree of 10 February 2022 – PON Enterprises and Competitiveness 2014-2020/React-UE Initiative, were finalized for the innovative development project for the creation of a local unit for the production of semi-finished metal products for construction.

Through the investment made, the company has started the technological transformation of the machinery, in the conditions to carry out production cycles using technologically advanced systems.

The investment program has provided, in addition to the purchase of machinery with consumption reduction equipment, also measures aimed at improving the energy sustainability of the company through the installation of a photovoltaic system and an energy consumption monitoring system.
